On January 12, according to the official account released by Beijing, the Great Wall at Jiangjunguan Pass in Beijing is expected to open to visitors as early as the end of 2026, and it will also become the first section of the Great Wall in Pinggu, Beijing.
It is reported that there are 273 existing Ming Great Wall ruins in Pinggu District, Beijing, with a total length of 53.67 kilometers, spanning six towns including Jinhaihu Town and Huangsongyu Township. Among them, Jiangjun Pass was the first important pass at the eastern end of the Beijing section of the Ming Dynasty Great Wall.
According to the data, the General Pass Great Wall is the only section of the stone built Great Wall in Beijing, presenting a rugged and rustic wild Great Wall style.
